Truce Production Company has signed photographer Mel Cowan for commercial representation across Australia.
Seamlessly bridging the gap between fine art and advertising, Mel brings a youthful and highly sought-after aesthetic that speaks directly to the contemporary cultural zeitgeist.
Truce executive producer Elise Trenorden said, "We initially fell in love with Mel’s energy and warmth, once we saw the sheer breadth of her work and excellent creative taste, we were all in. She brings a fresh, relevant perspective that clients are hungry for right now."

A creative chameleon, Mel has a unique ability to faultlessly modify her creative approach to match the DNA of each individual project.
New Zealand-born, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photo Media at Massey University in Wellington before relocating to Australia. Over the better part of a decade, she has built an enviable career spanning portraiture, editorial, and commercial work, working on campaigns for everything from global brands like Nike and Vogue to local independent not-for-profit icons HoMie Clothing.
"I’m incredibly excited to join the team at Truce", Mel said.
"For me, magic happens when there is genuine alignment and collaboration. While I always pride myself on understanding the heart of a brief and executing it with intention, it's when there is trust in the creative vision and the flexibility to bring an idea to life that things truly shine."
