Truce Films has announced the addition of Prad Sen to its roster of directors.
Says Elise Trenorden, executive producer, Truce Films: “We couldn’t be more excited to start working with Prad. His past work in commercials and music videos demonstrates an instinctive sensibility for the provocative and for the playful. He’s hardworking and a down-to-earth human, making him a great fit for Truce.”
Sen’s relationship with the senses was explored in his work for Canon’s ‘The Lab’ series, which approaches flavour and texture as artistic expression, and was an AWARD finalist in 2018. His sensual campaign for Skyn condoms was a finalist at the Young Director Awards in 2016.
Says Sen: “I’ve always been drawn to contrasts. I love to explore things that are moody and evocative just as much as I like to play with brightness, vibrancy and colour. For me, replicating tactile, sensory experiences on screen is where I find my happy place and those experiences can be either sides of this spectrum and everything in between.”
Sen has worked with major Australian artists including Paul Kelly, Montaigne, Alison Wonderland, Vance Joy and The Presets, with his music videos receiving ARIA, Rolling Stone, and Triple J Award nominations.
Sen and Truce are developing TV concept Combination Soup – A fun-sized journey into Aussie snacks, which looks at Australian immigration and the unique, delicious treats it has inspired.
Like everyone in the industry, Truce is working within the current state and federal COVID-19 guidelines to offer creative solutions and production services to clients and agencies.
